just a little bump

So here is the first picture we have taken of our little one cooking inside:) I am just over 16 weeks in the pic. Just in the last week that belly has gotten a bit bigger. Growth spurt for week 17. ALMOST HALF WAY THERE!! Yay. We find out in just over a week if we are having a boy or a girl:) We are so excited to find out. Plus I want to get started on the nursery! (Even though the rest of the house isn't even done being unpacked and organized and decorated.)

THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary! Wow, 2 years have gone by so quickly and it's crazy how much has happened in such a short time:) I am the happiest girl in the world and have the most wonderful husband ever. I love you so much sweetheart! Here is to the many many wonderful years ahead:)

More BIG News!

Not only are we buying a brand new house but......Reid and I are expecting our very first baby!!!! I know! Can you believe it? I can't just yet:) I'm sure that will quickly change once I start showing. There is no baby bump just yet. In fact I lost two pounds this last month:( Not so good but, when nothing sounds good to eat and you are nauseous, it's hard to force feed yourself. So, now Reid has taken it upon himself to continuously remind me that I lost two pounds and that I need to be eating. Don't you worry. It is getting much better!  We are due May 15th. We just had one of our appointments with our midwife last Friday to hear the heartbeat. It was AMAZING! What a beautiful thing! We actually got two pics of baby:) they did an ultrasound since they couldn't get the heartbeat with the handheld thing-a-ma-jig. I am also scheduled for another ultrasound in two weeks. This is where they will measure baby and make sure everything is going smoothly:) But from what we saw on Friday, baby is doing great! We got the cutest little bum shot. The legs are so short and cute. Baby kept trying to move away from the nice midwife getting it's heartbeat:) 

So, now that the house is pretty much done and pics of it won't be coming till after we move in, the posts will probably revolve mostly around our little bundle of joy that we will get to see in about six months!

Ok, all these are out of order but here they are, the last pics of the house until after we move in on NOV. 11th!!! YAY! The tile isn't finished and it still needs the carpet and appliances and some other odds and ends but it's really pretty much done! Enjoy:) (I sure have)

Another house update

Ok, so I am awful about keeping this blog updated. My goal is to post at least once a week but that hasn't been happening... So hopefully I can get myself into gear and stay on top of things:)

Moving on...

We went out and looked at our house early this morning, and boy is it coming along!!! They have all the cabinets in and the counters in in the kitchen, baseboards in, doors on (including garage door), outlets hooked up, painted inside and outside!! Woo hoo:) We are getting more and more excited for it to be complete. We forgot to take our camera with us so I'm thinking about stopping by after work or sometime tomorrow to get pics to post. They will be coming soon I promise! (of course I can't wait to show you how proud we are of our style choice on cabinets and countertops and flooring...they look SO good) :)

We have a close date of Nov 11th in the AM! And then it will be all ours and we will be moving in, probably that day! Can't wait!

So if any of you watched the season premier of "Community" on NBC after "The Office" you will know that my name is featured on the show:) Yea you heard me Britta is the name of one of the main characters on the show. It was so weird to hear my name used by someone else...let alone on a tv show.  hmmm, hope she doesn't make a bad name for MY name!!!
