I experienced my first earthquake yesterday. If anyone saw the news you know there was a quake in the LA area. Well, we live about 20 min to the south of the originating point. Yes, we felt the scary thing and it was nuts. I can't imagine being in one stronger than this last one. It was only a 5.4 but it sure rolled and shook our apt. building. Not too much was damaged from it (thank goodness). It mostly just rattled things around and knocked things to the floor.
At first I didn't know what was going on. Then I realized that it was an earthquake and ran to the doorway. I honestly thought I was going to fall through the floor or have walls come crashing in. But after a long 20-25 seconds it was over :) All I can say is that it was an experience. haha.

i hear about that...watched the news and i talked to my mom-in-law and i was going to call you, but i guess you did feel it. well i am glad that nothing was damaged and you guys are safe.. talk to you later..

Yikes on the earthquake!! It was good to talk to you the other day. We started back at Ridgeline today...WEIRD without you there!! We miss you! We also think Elaine got a boob job over the summer!!! TRUE STORY!
