Well, here I am slacking again. But Reid and I spent Thanksgiving at his families place in California this year. We flew into San Francisco Wed night before Thanksgiving. Thursday was a nice relaxing day. We spent lunch at Reid's dad's house. Shantele made some yummy soups and salads. It hit the spot. We then drove across the bay to have Thanksgiving dinner with Reid's mom at Reid's uncle's house. It was a full house! We had some great food and spent the rest of the evening playing games. On our drive back to Reid's mom's house we got stuck in horrible traffic. We left his uncle's house at 10pm and didn't get to Lisa's till almost 1am :( not fun. Later that night I couldn't breathe, due to a cat situation when we got back from Thanksgiving dinner, so I spent a long time hanging my head out the window trying to breathe. That wasn't working so Reid and I went to the front porch to see if that would help, well by this time it was almost 6am. Reid and I looked at each other and said "well, we might as well go shopping." We got our sweaters and headed out to face "Black Friday". We both had a really good time and got some Christmas shopping done:) I love Black Friday, what a great tradition.
The rest of the Thanksgiving trip consisted of watching movies (4 Christmases, 2nd James Bond, and all time must How the Grinch Stole Christmas!) Sunday, Reid, Reid's dad, Nikko, and I took a trip out to Mavericks! We hiked up the cliff and watched the HUGE sets come in. It was so fun to experience that. We then went to the Mavericks store and we got to meet the first man to surf Mavericks, Jeff Clark!
It was nice spending time with Reid's mom and Reid's dad and his wife Shantele, Sean, Summer, Miles, and Riley. I want to post some picks once I get them downloaded.

Ah, California traffic....let me just say that I don't envy you. It sucks. It sounds like you had a fun holiday other than that and the "cat situation." I can't wait to see pics!
