34 Weeks

I am currently 34 weeks! 6 weeks to go. I can't believe it! This picture was taken at 32 weeks. I have gained two pounds since then :) So in other words I am a little bigger. This pregnancy has gone really well, I sure can't complain, that's for sure! Reid and I realized how unprepared we are last Friday night. I had contractions for about 45 minutes, 3-5 minutes apart. I knew he wasn't coming but it made us realize that we have nothing ready! And when I say nothing, I mean NOTHING!! No overnight bag packed, crib not put together, no clothes, bottles, etc. We have two blankets, burp cloths and luckily diapers (Thanks mom for those!) Looks like we have a lot ahead of us to get ready! Reid put together the crib on Saturday, I will post pic soon. It looks fabulous! :) so now there is a bed if needed. I purchased a couple of outfits today. Now we just need to hope and pray that we can borrow a car seat if needed, since ours won't get here till the end of April. Yikes!
We had an appointment with our midwife today and things are looking good! She didn't want to do an exam just in case the exam would stir things up and possibly cause more contractions. So we have an appointment in two weeks and we will see how things go until then. Here are a few stats on the pregnancy:
Mood: surprisingly good! The pregnancy hasn't made me grumpy or cranky at all.
Comfortable: I am good all day until about 8pm. That is when heartburn seriously kicks in and my body starts to ache. That's pretty much the only time that I wish the baby would come out :)
Stretch Marks: None! Thanks to the wonderful essential oils I apply daily.
Weight Gain: Only 13 pounds. So pretty much just baby weight.
Cravings: None really
Belly Button: Part in and part out. Slowly turning into an outie.
Swelling: No swelling! Yay! Let's hope that lasts all the way till delivery.
Energy: Pretty good. I get tired easily if I'm not careful. But not abnormally tired or energized.
I can't really think of anything else to share, so that's the latest about me and the little man. We sure can't wait to meet him! I love you baby boy!
