3 Weeks. Can you believe it?!

Eliah is already 3 weeks old. Boy how time is flying! He is one great little boy! He has been on a great schedule of eat, awake for almost an hour and then nap for 2-3 hours, and repeat! Then all of a sudden his 3 week growth spurt hit and he has been wanting to eat a lot more frequently and has been more fussy than usual. Well, his fussiness just seemed to get worse as each day came and went. So, after feeling so helpless in helping our little boy we called the pediatricians office and talked to the nurse. After speaking with her we concluded it was gas and also something that I have eaten this last week that hasn't been settling well with our little guy. So, we have been working on getting both of our systems cleaned out so he can start to feel better. We are also working on getting rid of the thrush we are currently experiencing. Boy that stuff is not fun! But it is improving and will be gone soon! (thank goodness)

My parents made the trip down from New Mexico for the weekend, to spend some time with Eliah. My dad hadn't met Eliah yet and my mom was just down helping for the week after he was born but didn't get to spend a lot of time just enjoying him, so she was able to make the trip down again. We are so glad they were able to make it and spend some time with Eliah, even though it was a quick trip! Thanks for coming Gram and Papa!

Look at that handsome little man! He has stolen mine and his daddy's hearts! I can't believe how much he has changed and Grown in just the past 3 weeks!
