{THANKSGIVING 2010}
Reid didn't have much time off from school for Thanksgiving. Just Thursday and Friday.(BOO) It was our turn to spend Thanksgiving with Reid's family in San Mateo, CA. So we flew out late on Wed, after school. (Eliah's first flight, and was I nervous since it was super late when we got into CA.) But he did wonderful and everything went very smooth.
On Thanksgiving (Thursday)We drove out to the North Bay to Reid's Aunt and Uncles house. We had a nice time visiting with family and having Thanksgiving dinner. Eliah is on a schedule and so around 5pm he started to get fussy and ready for bed (he had already missed two naps) and we had an hour drive to back to Reid's dad's house where we were staying. So we apologized and headed out before dessert and games began.
Friday, we spend the day with Reid's mom, Lisa. We headed out to Half Moon Bay and had lunch. We then drove down the coast for a little while and stopped at some tide pools for a family picture. Eliah did great and we had a wonderful time at the beach.(Even though it was cold and windy).Since Eliah has an early bed time, he and I went to Matt's house to put Eliah to bed and Reid headed to his mom's house so they could spent some time hanging out.
Saturday was out Thanksgiving with Matt and Shantele. We spent the whole day just hanging out with everyone and eating yummy Italian food Shantele made. It was a whole day of feasting.
Sunday, we went to church and just relaxed that afternoon before we had to head to the airport to catch our flight back home. It was such a short trip but great to see everyone. Sad to say that it will be our last Thanksgiving at Reid's family. (Just too expensive and too short of a time to make it out there.)
